A dog named Alex is safe after surviving 22 days trapped in the wreckage of Turkey's earthquakes. An animal rescue worker told a Turkish news outlet that "Surviving 22 days in that hole without eating or drinking anything is really a miracle. They went on to say that the husky lost some weight but was in otherwise “good health.” How was the husky rescued? In footage from the event, rescuers were seen reaching between two slabs of concrete. Alex received water and hugs right after the rescue.
