Miami Heat Honor Dwyane Wade With Statue. Goes Viral for the Wrong Reasons

One of Dwyane Wade's most famous moments is now immortalized in bronze. The Miami Heat yesterday unveiled a statue of Wade outside the Kaseya Center. The eight-foot bronze statue depicts Wade reacting after he hit a game-winning three -pointer at the buzzer in a double-overtime win over Chicago in 2009. After that 48-point performance, he jumped on the scorer's table and yelled 'this is my house.' Wade says unveiling the statue was probably one of the best moments of his life. The celebration will continue tonight when the Heat host the Detroit Pistons. Wade will speak during a halftime ceremony on the 21st anniversary of his NBA debut. Meanwhile, much of the talk on social media has been about how the statue looks nothing like Wade.
