Festival season is upon us, and what better way to kick it off summer than with 5 days of music, art, and of course, the sun. SunFest has been a staple in South Florida for the last 20 years, and each year it just gets bigger and better. Here's a couple of reasons why it's in your best interest to join us for this year's festivities!
1. 5 Days, 3 Stages, 50 Bands -
One of the greatest things about SunFest is the eclectic selection of concerts you can see. Each year, the bill becomes seemingly more appealing for music lovers of every genre. This year, we're going to hear a little bit from the Top 40 genre, with artists like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, Flo Rida, etc., as well as some reggae favorites like Dirty Heads & Ziggy Marley. We didn't forget you classic rockers out there, Night Ranger will be taking the Tire Kingdom Stage on Saturday! Click here to see the full line up!
2. The WiLD Bicardi Floating Bar AND The WiLD Sky Vodka Floating Bar -
Another aspect of SunFest that sets it apart from the rest is the three floating bars! After you're done enjoying your favorite band, you can head over to the floating bars where the drinks will be flowing, and so will the music. WiLD 95.5 teamed up with Bicardi & SKYY Vodka to take over TWO of the floating bars this year, so make sure you stop on over and have a drink with us :)
3. Art is a HUGE part of what makes SunFest so special!
The constant partying is a HUGE part of SunFest, but it's not the only thing that makes this festival so beloved to South Floridians. Did you know original idea behind SunFest was to showcase our county's local artists in both music AND art? South Flagler Dr. transforms into our very own art gallery, displaying live artist demonstrations, installations and tons of new products for you to browse through.
4. Taste buds of all kinds will be pleased.
SunFest is known for wide array of food options that can please anyone and everyone. Many of the food vendors offer not only vegetarian options, but also gluten free options as well.
5. The legendary Sunday fireworks display!
At 9 p.m. on the final day of SunFest, one of the largest fireworks shows on the East Coast begins, and man is it a site to see. Some people come to the festival JUST for the incredible display of colors, explosives, and of course the music!
