Drinking alcohol can help cleanse your brain, according to a new study.
The researchers found that a low intake of booze might improve brain health. How is this possible? Well, the system that's responsible for removing waste products from the brain gets a boost when alcohol is in the system.
Now... just to be clear, the scientists did say a "low" intake of alcohol which is about 2 drinks a day.
Apparently, binge drinking doesn't have the same benefits and actually makes your brain run less smoothly.
