Study Shows Alcohol is More Important Than Exercise to Live Past 90

A study started back in 2003 focused on the oldest elderly generation meaning those who have made it past 90. The researchers behind the study reached out to those that made it past the mark to see what their lifestyle habits were that allowed them to live this long. 

This is what the Clinic for Aging Research and Education found! Those who had 2 beers or 2 glasses of wine per day improved their odds of living longer over those who abstained from alcohol. 

The researchers also found that those who exercised regularly and had better dietary restrictions did not live as long as those who were slightly overweight. One doctor who was apart of the study stated that "It's not bad to be skinny when you're young, but it's very bad to be skinny when you're old."
