Guy Runs More Than 15,000 Miles Recreating Route From Forrest Gump

A British guy name Rob Pope spent more than a year in America running the same route Forrest Gump ran in the famous 1994 movie.

Rob Pope is 39-years-old and spent 409 days running over 15,000 miles!  That's the equivalent of 590 marathons.

He is the first person to take on the challenge.

Of course, he started in Mobile, Alabama and ran about 40 miles a day.  During his adventure, he had to deal with freezing temperatures, heat waves, and a number of injuries.

Pope also admitted that repetition and loneliness made things more mentally tough than he expected.
