Margate, FL - A South Florida mom was arrested for leaving her young children alone while she went to work at her restaurant job.
34-year-old Mirlene Dalmacy is accused of leaving her three children alone in her Margate home while going to work on Sunday.
Police say a concerned neighbor called 911 when one of the children was seen wandering outside of Dalmacy's second-floor apartment.
According to her arrest report, police found Dalmacy's one-year-old and three-year-old girls inside the apartment with a bowl of food on the floor, urine soaked clothing, and dirty diapers scattered around the apartment.
Dalmacy was found several hours later at her restaurant job.
During questioning, Dalmacy told police she intentionally left the children home alone when she went to work.
Dalmacy was released from the Broward County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
She was ordered to have no contact with her children by Broward Judge Phoebee Francois.
