Caught on camera: Stolen car falls onto home on New Year's Day and nearly misses homeowner.
Police say they spotted the stolen car, and when two officers approached the vehicle, they say the driver fled, lost control and drove over an embankment falling more than 21 feet.
The car crashed through two metal gates before landing on top of a garage and then on top of a car. Witnesses said the man driving the car got out of it and began running until cops caught up to him and put him into custody. There was a female passenger, still stuck in the vehicle, who was apprehended as well.
