Eagles Donate $2.5-Million For Wildfire Benefit Concert

The Eagles have donated $2.5-million to “FireAid,” the benefit concert set for January 30th. That concert is being held at the Intuit Dome and will help those impacted by the fires in Los Angeles. The planned concert is described as an “evening of music and solidarity.” Proceeds from the concert will go toward supporting displaced families, advancing fire prevention technology, and rebuilding infrastructure. We'll carry the concert on #iHeartRadio. Here is the line-up of artist so far:

SPRINGSTEEN, YOUNG, GROHL: Donate Items to MusiCares Auction

Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Dave Grohl, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Slash have all donated autographed items to MusiCares Charity Relief Auction. The charity fundraiser is slated to take place on February 2nd at the Recording Academy in Santa Monica, California, and online at JuliansAuctions.com.

·Springsteen, Young, Grohl, Slash, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Steve Miller, James Taylor and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister have all contributed autographed guitars.

·Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Brandi Carlile, Eagles and Sheryl Crow all signed a guitar used at last year's Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett that's also up for bids.

·There's also a guitar used at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony signed by Ozzy Osbourne, Maynard James Keenan of Tool, Billy Idol and Wolfgang Van Halen.

·Chris Martin donated a handwritten setlist from a Coldplay show in Dublin last year.

·Other autographed items up for bids come from Ringo Starr, Sting and Stevie Nicks.

RINGO STARR: Breaks Out Catalog Deep Cuts at First Nashville Show

Ringo Starr not only debuted songs from his new country album Look Up at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tuesday night, he also played some deep cuts from his solo catalog.

Starr performed "Have You Seen My Baby" from 1973's ‘Ringo’ and "You Don't Know Me at All" from 1975's ‘Ringo's Rotogravure’ live for the first time ever. He also did "Time on My hands," "Thankful" and "Look Up" from his new album.

The first set opened with Jack White and Ringo doing "Matchbox." That set also saw Starr leave the stage at various points as guest stars took turns through his Beatles and solo catalog. Molly Tuttle sang "Octopus' Garden," Jack White did "Don't Pass Me By," Billy Strings did "Honey Don't," The War and Treaty did "Without Her" and Sheryl Crow did "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party." The second set included "What Goes On" with Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle. The show closed with "Yellow Submarine" with help from Jack White and then White, Crow, Billy Strings, Emmylou Harris and Brenda Lee singing on "With a Little Help From My Friends."

Ringo Invited To Make Grand Ole Opry Debut

There's not much the legendary Ringo Starr hasn't done in his storied career, but there is one thing...and he's about to check that box. Ringo was on stage during the first of his two-night sold-out headlining shows at the Ryman Auditorium Tuesday night when Emmylou Harris came out to invite the former Beatle to come back to the theater to perform for the Grand Ole Opry. "I’d love to. It’s an honor and a pleasure. Thank you." In a statement, Opry Executive Producer Dan Rogers said, "What an honor that after all the extraordinary music he has made and all the incredible history he’s been a part of, Ringo Starr will be making his Opry debut during this, the Opry’s milestone 100th year. It’s going to be a night like no other." Starr will make his Opry debut on February 21.

Billy Joel Postpones Tomorrow’s Hard Rock Show For Medical Procedure

Billy Joel is postponing tomorrow’s Hard Rock Live concert in Hollywood, Florida. In a statement the “Piano Man” said the show was moved to November 1 due to a medical procedure. Joel shared “I’m disappointed to share that I must postpone my concert at Hard Rock Live. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone in November.” Joel’s next concert is still scheduled for Uncasville, Connecticut on February 22.

PEARL JAM, DAVE MATTHEWS, LENNY KRAVITZ: Headed to Jazz Fest

Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Kacey Musgraves and Lenny Kravitz will be among the headliners at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival -- commonly known as Jazz Fest.

The annual New Orleans event is set for April 24th through May 4th.

·The first weekend's lineup includes Dave Matthews Band, Kacey Musgraves, John Fogerty, Haim, Goose, Gladys Knight, Cheap Trick, Babyface, Irma Thomas, The Revivalists and James Bay.

·The second weekend features Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, Santana, Cage the Elephant, Laufey, Patti LaBelle, My Morning Jacket, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Morris Day & The Time, Margo Price and Rickie Lee Jones.

SAMMY HAGAR: The Real Reason for a Residency

Sammy Hagar's big Best of All Worlds Tour last year might have been the last chance for his fans to see him in their towns. Hagar told the Miami Herald, “I don’t think I want to go on tour anymore. I hate to say that, because I don’t want to piss my fans off.” And that's why the 77-year-old is looking forward to his Las Vegas residency this spring at Dolby Live at Park MGM. “I’ll go out and do a one-off show and do things like that, but the residency is going to give me a good extension of my career. That’s what I’m hoping for." Hagar added, “With this, I don’t have to travel, I don’t have to unpack and pack and get on an airplane every day,” You know, at my age, it hurts my shoulders to do all this. And I have to perform. I’m a performer, at the end of the day.” The Vegas residency is nine shows that run from April 30th to May 17th. Hagar will be joined at the shows by Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Kenny Aronoff.

Bob Dylan Joins TikTok Right Before Its Potential US Ban

Good news and bad news for fans of Bob Dylan and TikTok. The good news is that the iconic rocker has finally joined the social media platform. The bad news is that Dylan joined TikTok just days before it is potentially banned in the US! This isn’t the first time he’s joined a social media platform in the midst of chaos. As users were fleeing X, Dylan apparently started posting small personal observations with his fans on the site. TikTok, meanwhile, could be banned starting this Sunday. Dylan posted his first TikTok this week, sharing a 50-second montage of career highlights set to “Like A Rolling Stone,” “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” and “The Hurricane.”

TOTO: So About That Rob Lowe "Demo"

Remember how Rob Lowe said he got Toto to play on a demo when he thought he might pursue music? Well, the band has cleared up Lowe's memory of the day, which the actor admitted happened when he was doing a lot of cocaine. Toto's spokesman issued a statement saying, “Toto as a band never did a session with Rob Lowe." What actually happened is that Lowe spent one afternoon in the studio with just two of the band’s members – David Paich and Steve Porcaro. Paich and Porcaro were in high demand as sessions players in the 1970s and 1980s. During the time Lowe mentioned on his podcast, Paich and Porcaro were working on a project outside of the band when a producer suggested they try Lowe behind the mic. But the session was a bust and nothing came of it. Toto's spokesman added that guitarist Steve Lukather did confirm he spent time with Lowe “once in 1985 in Japan and hasn’t seen him since."

ROD STEWART: I'll Be There for You and Your Divorce

Friends star David Schwimmer revealed that he had a very uncomfortable encounter once with Rod Stewart. In an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Schwimmer started talking about the jobs he had when he was younger. He said, "One summer after my freshman year in college, I was just looking for work, and my mom said, 'Well, you can be a process server for me.' My mom was a divorce lawyer, and I was the guy who would pop out of the bushes and serve you divorce papers." Schwimmer added, "Once, oh man, thank goodness I've never run into him since, but I served Rod Stewart. I don't even know if he knows. I don't think he knows." Colbert then joked that "he knows now" and if the two were to ever run into each other Stewart now "knows to punch you." While Schwimmer didn't say which of Stewart's wives was serving him, it seems likely to be Alana Stewart. They were married from 1979 to 1984, and the 58-year-old Schwimmer's first summer after freshman year would likely have been the summer of 1984 going by his age.

Sex Pistols 1978 US Concerts To Be Get CD, Vinyl Release

The recordings of three Sex Pistols concerts from 1978 are getting a special release. The three recordings, of three separate concerts, will be released as individual LPS as well as a three-CD set. The recordings are of the Sex Pistols concert in San Francisco, Atlanta, and in Dallas. The concert in San Francisco was the last of seven shows the band played on a...troubled...tour of the US before they broke up. The vinyl release of the Atlanta show comes out on February 28, the Dallas show comes out on March 28th, and the San Francisco show comes out on April 25th. The three-CD compilation will drop on April 25th as well.

Dave Mustaine's Wine Company Now Offering Luxury Wine-Related Excursions

The wine brand owned by Megadeth's Dave Mustaine is expanding.House Of Mustaine. which currently owns vineyards in Italy and California, is now offering several members-only events in Nashville and a series of "global created luxury excursions." Some of the new offerings include a six day trip to Northern-Thailand, a five-course wine meal in Nashville, and an outing in London. Company president Pamela Mustaine says her family has "always pushed boundaries, whether in music or in life, and House of Mustaine is a reflection of that spirit -- rebellious, innovative, and dedicated to excellence."
