A tortilla chip company and a microbrewery in California are teaming up and created a tortilla chip beer.
In order to create this unique brew, the Taco Works chip company and the Tio Rodrigo microbrewery used over 400 pounds of tortilla chips straight from the oven. The beer is described as a light, refreshing beer with hints of lime zest.
"Everyone’s been going a bit stir-crazy lately so we wanted to have some fun and shake things up,” said head brewer Steve Courier. “Why not have your chips and drink them too?”
Sadly, the beer is only available in California. However, anyone who is able to get their hands on it also gets a complimentary bag of chips.
