New Social Robot Dog Senses Human Emotions

A new "social robot dog" is using artificial intelligence to help sense human emotions.

The robot dog was created by the company Koda and starts out as a puppy but learns to interact socially with human owners as time goes on.

Using the company's blockchain-enabled decentralized AI infrastructure, the robot dog can serve a wide range of purposes in your home - such as a family companion, a seeing-eye dog, and/or a guard dog. It can even solve complex problems.

"It is a functional piece of home technology, a family pet, and a piece of art, all at once," Koda CEO Emma Russell said in a statement. "Those who take this opportunity to be an original owner of a Koda will be able to watch its decentralized AI in action as it evolves from a puppy-like state to a robotic dog with the intelligence of a supercomputer."

The good news is the robot doesn't shed or pee/poop on all your stuff. However, the bad news is this thing costs between $45,000 and $55,000.
