This 12-foot snake becomes quite the handful for one Florida snake hunter.
The Burmese python is one of Florida's most worrisome invasive species. It is believed they first got into the Everglades as released/escaped pets. They are now a huge threat to native birds, turtles, alligators, and more that call the Everglades home.
To fight the problem, Florida hires many full-time freelance snake hunters to search the Everglades and remove as many big reptiles as they can.
The video below highlights a capture by one of these snake hunters. YouTuber Florida's Wildest comes across a 12-foot python and wrestles it all by himself.
Most hunters prefer to work in pairs for safety reasons but not this guy!
