Florida Man Stands Through Sunroof At 100 MPH, Rather Go to Jail Than Home

A 70-year-old Florida man would prefer to go back to jail than spend any more time at home with his wife.

Leonard Olsen, who is obviously very unhappy in his marriage, can be seen on video driving down Interstate 4 in Central Florida with his body halfway through his Cadillac sunroof.

Olsen can be seen weaving in and out of traffic reaching speeds of up to 100 MPH.

Eventually, he was pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol and was eager to turn himself in. According to the incident report, "My wife treats me like a servant and she’s the mistress and I’m tired of this s**t. Lock me up, I’d rather go to jail than go back home.”

Well, his daring escape from Mrs. Olsen worked! He was taken into custody.

“The car drives itself and has a gigantic computer in it,” Olsen said. “I thought it would be a nice way to praise God for a minute, and I thought it would be nice at the time and that’s what I did.”

Olsen was not only charged with reckless driving, but also with two counts of domestic battery on a person 65 or older, one count of false imprisonment, and one count of domestic battery by strangulation, after his wife accused him of attacking her on several occasions prior to the driving incident.
