A whopping seven lions were no match for one determined porcupine.
During a night drive in South Africa's Kruger National Park, seven lions were spotted trying to make a meal out of a porcupine. However, they couldn't figure out how to defeat it.
Hennie Bekker, Director at Private Kruger Safaris, was able to film all the action after hearing a rattling sound in the near distance.
Cleverly, the porcupine kept his back to the lions at all times which prevented the lions from getting the upper hand.
The lions soon realized the game was over and walked off into the darkness.
For now, the porcupine lives to see another day.
