Yesterday, was the 25th anniversary of the "Happy Gilmore" movie and Adam Sandler decided he was going to recreate the iconic swing.
Sandler posted the video to Twitter and said it was the first time in 25 years to hit a tee shot “Happy Gilmore” style before smashing the ball down the fairway.
In the video, Sandler even called out his movie nemesis Shooter McGavin.
"Shooter McGavin, this is for you,” he said. “I’m not lying to you. That is smashed. Smashed. That went pretty well. You’re dead, Shooter!”
Actor Christopher McDonald reprised his role as Shooter McGavin on social media to fire back at Sandler.
