Apparently, man's best friend also comes in robotic form… and can serve you a beer!
A bar located in the city of Sevilla, Spain has been using a robot dog, named Spot, to serve beer to its customers to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Created by Boston Dynamics and Spain-based Macco Robotics, Spot has been programmed to deliver drinks to socially distanced patrons.
The bar employee simply places the drinks on a tray that is attached to Spot's back. Spot will then walk over to the customer's table, delivering the cold beverages.
"I think that in times of pandemic it is very good that there is a robot serving drinks so there is no contact between people," one customer said.
