While fishing from the sand in Pensacola Beach, anglers reeled in a Great White Shark and this once-in-a-lifetime catch was captured on video.
The video, which was posted to YouTube over the weekend, shows the angler from Idaho linking up with Big John Shark Fishing Adventures for this catch.
The captain can be heard on the video suggesting they hooked a Tiger Shark or a Mako Shark. However, once it got closer, they all realized they caught a Great White Shark.
It took the angler about 40 minutes to reel in the massive shark estimated at around 1,000 pounds and 12-feet in length.
The shark was released but now the angler will return to Idaho with a fishing story nobody would’ve ever believed if there wasn’t video footage.
