Disturbing CCTV footage captured in northern India shows four men being struck by lightning and serves as a reminder to never stand under a tree during a thunderstorm.
Four men, all workers, huddled under a tree as a storm passed through the city of Gurugram late Friday.
Suddenly, a flash of light fills the video as a bolt of lightning strikes the three they are standing under. All four men appear to be knocked unconscious and fall to the ground.
All four men were rushed to the hospital. There, one man, 38-year-old Ram Prasad, was reported to be in critical condition, while the other three men, 43-year-old Shiv Dutt, 32-year-old Lali Kumar, and 32-year-old Anil Kumar were stable and recovering.
Sadly, Prasad later succumbed to his injuries.
