Things got a little crazy this past weekend in Miami Beach as city officials declared a "super spreader" state of emergency.
Cell phones captured videos of thousands of spring breakers in South Beach as they partied in the streets. One-year of social distancing guidelines being completely ignored.
One man even painted his face to resemble the Joker and climbed onto the roof of a car.
"COVID's over, man. COVID's over baby," he shouted while waving an American flag.
However, the Joker's declaration that the pandemic was over was not a belief shared by local city officials. On Saturday afternoon, they declared a state of emergency since police were not able to contain the "unruly" crowd.
