Not everyone has DIY skills. This guy is living proof after he attempted to fix his deck and it ended in a cartoon-like fail.
The man's wife posted the video, recorded by their home security system, on social media not realizing it would soon go viral.
The wife captioned the video "when your husband tries to fix things he shouldn’t”, accompanied by the hashtag “keep your day job”. The video has been viewed more than 4.7 million times.
In the video, the man can be seen holding a plank of wood before placing it into a gap in the deck. After placing the wood down, he decides to test the stability - despite not nailing it in place first.
Placing his weight onto the plank forces the other end to flip up and crack him right in the face. Luckily, his pride was the only thing hurt by the incident.
Many viewers say the mishap is something straight out of a cartoon.
