Two guards in a cash-in-transit vehicle survived a horrific attack thanks to bulletproof windows and great driving skills.
The two guards were driving on the road when armed robbers opened fire on their bulletproof Toyota Landcruiser.
At one point, a round, which appeared to be from an assault rifle, shattered the driver's side window but failed to penetrate it.
The guard who was driving was apparently in the police task force and was praised for the way he handled the terrifying situation.
According to a national police spokesman, “The driver of the CIT vehicle managed to evade the robbers for a while but later stopped in waited for the robbers. The robbers fled without taking any money. No arrests have yet been made.”
The video ends with the retired cop grabbing the rifle from his partner and getting out of the vehicle.
The guard waited for the robbers to catch up but apparently, his earlier resistance was enough to deter them.
