An unlikely hero was able to take down an armed robber that was holding up a store, and the intense moment was caught on video.
The CCTV footage, which was first posted in 2018, shows a man entering a convenience store and pulling out a revolver. The would-be robber first points the gun at the terrified cashier before pointing it at an older man wearing a cowboy hat.
The cowboy calmly removed his glasses and waited for the moment to spring into action. The robber turned his back to threaten another customer in the store, which was all the opportunity the cowboy needed.
The cowboy rushes the wannabe robber and rips the gun from his hand. A store employee quickly grabs the gun, rendering it useless.
The gunman attempts to escape the store but doesn't get too far.
The video ends with two store employees and the cowboy holding the robber down as a third employee calls the police.
