A Florida fisherman called it quits after an absolute nightmare emerged from the water.
A video, posted to YouTube, shows 22-year-old Tommy Lee fishing for tarpon in the Everglades on Saturday. All of a sudden, a massive alligator popped its head out of the water.
"Oh, Jesus Christ," he said after noticing the large reptile. "You gotta be careful here."
As the alligator began swimming to the shore, Lee decided it was time to move back. While moving backwards, he fell to the ground but quickly got back up.
Luckily, the gator held back and eventually returned to the water.
“And I am out of here,” he said. “Screw that.”
Lee estimated the alligator was about 11-feet long.
