A home in Palm City now has a sizable hole in the roof after a chunk of ice slammed through it.
The odd event happened on Wednesday morning. The Martin County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating where the chunk of ice came from.
After punching through the roof, the chunk of ice hit the ground outside the house.
No other damage was reported.
