Heart-pounding video captured the moment a police officer singlehandedly lifted an overturned vehicle off a mother who was trapped inside.
According to reports, the mother and her child were traveling in the car when they crashed in Gloucester County, Virginia.
Deputy Jon Holt was first to arrive on the scene and found the woman trapped with her head pinned by the sunroof. The woman's child was also inside the sedan crying and begging the officer to help her.
"She can't breathe! She can't breathe!" the child cried. "Please help!"
Deputy Holt quickly took action and was able to physically lift the vehicle up enough for the driver to maneuver her head out safely. The video goes dark but you can hear the officer "straining and groaning loudly as he attempts to singlehandedly lift the car off of the woman."
