A home surveillance camera captured a wild encounter with a bear in a Southern California backyard.
17-year-old Hailey Morinico recalls hearing the family dogs barking in the backyard. She looked over and saw a massive bear on the wall with her cubs.
In the video, the dogs can be seen running up and barking at the bear. Mama bear starts swiping her paws at the dogs.
Hailey jumped into action when the bear tried grabbing her mother's service dog, shoving it off the wall.
Amazingly, Hailey only suffered a small scratch, and all the dogs are safe.
