A driver in New York was busted for attaching a drama mask to their passenger seat to sneak into the carpool lane.
According to reports, the patrol officer, Jonathan Abrams, noticed something odd about the Nissan sedan as it passed him while he was watching over a stretch of the Long Island Expressway.
Abrams decided to pull over the vehicle to investigate and discovered the 20-year-old driver, Justin Kunis, attached the mask on the headrest of the passenger seat.
Kunis was issued a ticket for violating HOV occupancy rules.
In New York, the fine for driving solo in the HOV lane typically runs well over $100.
