A Florida resident shared a video of an alligator that strolled into their backyard and ended up stuck in a lacrosse net for about 45 minutes.
According to the homeowner, the reptile showed up in their yard in Longwood, FL, when it became stuck in the net.
About 45 minutes later, the gator was able to free itself from the sports equipment and wandered back into the nearby woods.
A dead snake was later found in the lacrosse net which the homeowner believes attracted the alligator's attention.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, alligators aren't relocated unless they are more than 4 feet long and determined to be exhibiting aggressive behavior.
