An intense video shows the moment a shootout erupted between police officers and three armed men in Orlando, Florida.
According to the Orlando Police Department, "Two officers in clothing marked 'Police' happened to pull through an intersection where three armed males were on bicycles."
"The officers were not looking for these individuals. Preliminary information indicates the three subjects opened fire on the vehicle, and officers had to return fire from inside the vehicle."
In the bodycam video, the officers are driving around in an unmarked black Jeep Grand Cherokee when the driver exclaims, "Watch out! Watch out! Watch out!"
Bullets pierce the front windshield as one officer returns fire from inside the vehicle. They quickly exited the SUV, took cover, and shot back at the suspects.
At least 30 shots were exchanged during the shootout in broad daylight.
According to reports, the assailants fled the crime scene but were later found and arrested.
None of the officers were injured in the ambush.
