A Florida man in Polk County used a trash can to capture an alligator that was wandering around on his property.
In the video, the man can be heard asking onlookers to tell him when the gator's head was in the trash bin so he could close the top, hopefully trapping the reptile inside.
Luckily, he was able to do just that. At the right moment, he quickly closes the lid, hitting the gator in the head, which causes the animal to move further into the waste bin.
The man quickly scoops up the bin, allowing the alligator to fall inside, all while wearing socks and sandals.
It is unclear what happened to the gator after it was captured.
