A 77-year-old man with a concealed carry license shot and killed a robber in Chicago on Saturday afternoon, according to the police.
The police report says the older man was in a garage when the robber drove up, pulled out a gun, and demanded the man's belongings.
Instead of handing over his things, the victim pulled out a gun and shot the robber in the head and chest, police said. The robber was pronounced dead at the scene and was later identified as Bernard Peterson.
