A woman who crashed through the ice while driving on a frozen river managed to snap a quick selfie before being rescued by nearby residents.
The unidentified woman was filmed speeding in her car on the frozen Rideau River. Suddenly, the ice broke underneath her vehicle, and it began to sink.
Fortunately, she could climb out the window and stand safely on the top of the car.
While a group of quick-acting residents jumped into action, she remained shockingly calm and even took time to snap a selfie while the car slowly sunk into the icy water.
Using a kayak attached to a rope, the residents pulled the woman to safety.
According to reports, the woman seemed happy and utterly unfazed by what had just happened. The residents recalled her appearing to have fun and said she would do it again.
Police charged her with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
