Residents in a California neighborhood received a frightening wake-up call after two mountain lions decided to throw down right in their front yard.
According to reports, the deadly battle occurred around 2 AM and was recorded on the family’s doorbell security camera.
Eventually, the victor can be seen dragging the other mountain lion across the street. After that, the big cat rested on the front lawn of the resident’s house.
According to wildlife experts, this behavior isn’t uncommon for mountain lions because they are typically solitary creatures and will defend their hunting territory to the death.
Police are urging residents to be cautious and remove any food or water sources that might attract wild animals.
