A Florida man is facing charges after law enforcement claims he threw boiling hot ramen noodles at a woman.
According to reports, sheriff's deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at a Fort Pierce home on Friday, January 28.
Police spoke with the female victim, and she claims 21-year-old Brandon Smith threw noodles at her. According to the arrest affidavit, Smith allegedly struck her "on the back with the hot pot" shortly after throwing the noodles.
The argument allegedly began over a dispute over allowing Smith's dog in the bed. However, Smith gave cops a different story, saying the woman was chasing after the dog and fell on the pot of noodles.
Smith is currently in custody on a $5,000 bond.
