A security guard was recently charged with vandalism after drawing cartoon eyes on a famous painting worth approximately $1 million.

According to reports, the incident happened at a cultural arts center in Russia. The security guard was working his first day when he grabbed a ballpoint pen and doodled eyes on the famous painting titled Three Figures.

The painting was completed in 1934 by Anna Leporskaya and features three faceless heads, all standing at different depths.

It took about two weeks before visitors noticed the eyes. The arts center filed a report with the police and tracked down the security guard.

The security guard admitted to the vandalism and said he was bored on his first day at work. He is now facing criminal charges and could face a fine, work sentence, and/or up to three months in prison if found guilty.

Needless to say, he's also out of a job.
