Another close call on an area drawbridge was caught on camera, bringing the total to three in the last two years.

According to reports, the incident happened in November 2020 on the Parker Bridge in North Palm Beach, but we are just now learning about it.

A bicyclist was riding across the bridge just before it started to rise. Video shows the man clinging to the bridge as it raises.

The bicyclist was helped to safety by a nearby motorist who ran over to help.

According to the bicyclist, he stopped on the bridge for no more than 30 seconds, and he never heard a warning bell, said the North Palm Beach police report.

The bridge tender said she didn't see anyone on the bridge when she raised it.

The bicyclist told police he had some pain in his shoulder and a burn on his bicep. His bicycle also sustained some damage after it slid down the bridge. According to the report, he declined treatment and said he would go to the hospital on his own.
