Antisemitic Leader Threatens Lawsuit Against Sheriff Following Denouncement

Volusia County, FL - A Florida Sheriff is facing legal threats from an antisemitic group leader following a news conference addressing hate propaganda.

The leader of an antisemitic group has initiated legal action against Volusia Sheriff Michael Chitwood following the sheriff's news conference in February where he addressed the activities of the group.

During February's press conference, Sheriff Chitwood denounced the dissemination of hate propaganda by the "white supremacist neo-Nazi hate group" in nearby neighborhoods and parking lots, emphasizing solidarity with the Jewish community and affirming a zero-tolerance stance.

In response to Chitwood's statements, the leader of the antisemitic group submitted a notice of intent to sue on May 30th, alleging that the sheriff's comments endangered the group.

The notice accuses Chitwood of making threats, engaging in cyber intimidation, committing treason, and perpetrating domestic terrorism.

The group's leader also criticized Chitwood for promoting a line of merchandise that depicted the sheriff flushing individuals with a swastika and the group's logo down a toilet, accompanied by the phrase "SCUMBAG ERADICATION TEAM."

Expressing disapproval, the leader conveyed their dismay at Chitwood's choice to depict human beings with inherent rights being flushed away, particularly when the subject pertains to a political matter.

The notice demanded either the provision of "50 1 Oz. of solid gold" or a cash reimbursement of $100,000.

In addition to the monetary demands, the notice outlined further requirements from Chitwood, including issuing a public apology on a local news station for referring to the group and its members as "cowards" and "scumbags," publicly affirming his commitment to protecting the rights of European men who voice concerns about nefarious political activities and groups working against the interests of Europeans in the United States, removing social media posts featuring Chitwood flushing "activists" down the toilet, and engaging in live debates with "activists" regarding the information presented in the group's flyers.

Sheriff Chitwood dismissed the legal threats, asserting that similar notices had been received from three other individuals.

He highlighted that the group's strategy involved filing complaints with the Department of Justice and ethics complaints, both of which yielded no results.

Responding to the latest legal threat, Chitwood deemed it frivolous and proceeded to rip up a copy of the notice in a video recording.

Chitwood announced his intention to dispatch pacifiers with the inscription "Mike Chitwood hurt my feelings" to each member of the group who issued a notice, in a response to their legal action.
