A noise ordinance could soon be coming to Ft. Lauderdale. Commissioner Steve Glassman says they're hearing from the task force today which has been studying ways to make the downtown area quieter. Glassman says they need to strike the right balance between restaurants and bars and residents who deserve a quiet quality of life. He says it all boils down to enforcement, because without it the ordinance would be meaningless. No word yet on when a vote will be taken.
