If you have a 561-area code, you will have to dial all 10 digits to make a call. It’s part of the preparation to have a national suicide prevention hotline: 988, which is scheduled for 2022. 10-digit dialing for 561, as well as the 321, 352 and 941 area codes in Florida will start on October 24th.
