A Cape May, New Jersey man is facing charges after being accused of decapitating a seagull.
On July 6th, 29-year-old Franklin Ziegler was accused of animal cruelty at Morey’s Piers.
According to court documents, Ziegler admitted to “killing the seagull after it attempted to steal French Fries from his daughter.”
Ziegler reportedly became “irate and uncooperative with officers” on the scene of “an unrelated investigation,” which led to charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
