First Day Of Legal Recreational Marijuana Sales Top $200k In Michigan

Recreational marijuana became legal on Sunday morning, December 1st, in the state of Michigan, and first day sales topped $200,000.

Stores in Ann Arbor were among the first in the state allowed to sell it, and hundreds of people were in line for the grand openings on Sunday at 10am. So far the state has issued 18 licenses, and more are expected to be approved in January.
