With the Ultimate Fighting Championship returning to Miami on March 9th, 2024, UFC made sure to give fans an event that is full of fighters who are ready to rumble. After selling out the Kaseya Center for UFC 289 in 2023, the UFC made sure to return down to sunny Miami for another exhibition you shouldn’t miss. Let’s go over 4 fights you shouldn’t miss seeing at UFC 299.

Sean O’Malley vs Marlon Vera 2

With Sean O’Malley putting his Featherweight Champion Belt on the line to beat the only person who previously gave him a loss, Marlon Vera, this fight will be one for the history books. This will be a very special main event because Suga Sean O’Malley is seeking to get revenge.

Curtis Blaydes vs Jailton Almeida

The headlining event for the preliminary card will be a clash among heavyweights. This fight was previously scheduled to happen back in November 2023, but Curtis Blaydes withdrew for unknown reasons. These two have been waiting over a year to battle it out in the octagon.

Gilbert Burns vs Jack Della Maddalena

Fighting out of Boca Raton, Florida, Gilbert Burns is looking to put an end to Jack Della Maddalena’s 5-fight winning streak. We have a former title challenger in Gilbert Burns, and he’s taking on an ascending fighter in Jack Della Maddalena, who’s looking to win the biggest fight of his career.

Dustin Poirer vs Benoît Saint Denis

With a recent loss against the #2 Lightweight Contender, Justin Gaethje, and a massive win against Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirer is looking to add another name to his fight resumé. His challenger, Benoît Saint Denis, is looking to climb the rankings and continue his 5-fight winning streak. With all 5 wins coming by Knock Out or Submission, Benoît Saint Denis will pose a huge challenge for Dustin Poirer.
